Hey, there you are! Welcome to my website that will feature the best and worst of my writing and general observations on life.
I’m Theresa Munroe, pen name T A Munroe. I started writing seriously in November of 2008. On November 1st, actually, when I signed up for my first National Novel Writing Month. That novel is titled A Box of Rain. In February of this year, I self-published the alternate ending, called Another Place on the Planet. In the meantime, I’ve been learning more about writing, the publishing industry, marketing, and trying to share what I’ve learned.
For the past year or so, I’ve been focusing on writing and marketing full time, although I suspect another day job is in my future. I’ve been a teacher, substitute teacher, teacher’s aide, lunch lady, pre-school teacher, library clerk, library early literacy program coordinator, retail associate, census taker…no wonder I’m tired!
I live just outside of Phoenix, Arizona, having moved here about six years ago with my amazingly supportive husband, Keith, of almost 31 years. We have two adult children we left behind in Pennsylvania. Sarah is a copywriter at Drexel University in Philadelphia and writes poetry, rides bicycle with her husband, Doug, when they’re not talking about dinosaurs. She’s also getting ready to start her MFA at West Virginia University with a full fellowship. Pete is a beer expert and bartender in our hometown, while writing songs and honing his stand-up comedy skills.
Earthly wealth has thus far evaded me, but my riches lie in my family, friends and talents God is having me use.
Welcome to WordPress and congrats on the domain!
Thanks, jccassels! One more thing to remember to do–approve comments! Argh!
WordPress has an excellent spam filter. I have my comments set to not need moderation.
